MSN pencil symbol

A lot of people don’t realize that there are hundreds of hidden symbols and characters that they can add to their MSN chats, statuses and names. The MSN pencil symbol is an extremely good example of a cool icon that you can use in any chat, and it’s free!

There are three different types of pencil symbol for MSN, and each can show a different type of writing stroke or meaning. Let’s check out each one, and see them in action!

This writing symbol is perfect for using as a full stop after a sentence in WLM. You can also add a load of dashes after it to make it look like you’re drawing a line across the screen.

The horizontal pencil icon is also very good for pretending you’re drawing a line across the MSN chat window.

If you want to represent scribbling in the MSN window, you can use the diagonal pencil (which is pointing up and right) to do this, along with pasting lots of different characters.

Loads of people enjoy listening to music while using MSN, and now you can use any of these MSN music symbols to show people what you’re listening to! These notes work great inside your MSN status, where you can put them alongside the name of the singer or band that you’re currently playing in your MP3. There are many different types of music note symbols available that you can use in MSN, and they are each unique.

You can not use alt codes for all of these music notes, but you can copy and paste them from this post directly into your chats! It’s pretty simple. Now you just have to choose which one to use!

This is the basic music note symbol for MSN, and has been used by loads of people in their statuses. You can also use this one in Twitter or other social networks (like in your Facebook status).

This one looks like the first basic music note icon, but it has an extra little bit comign off the top.

♫ – musical single bar note

A music single bar note symbol – ideal for putting around lyrics for a song!

♬ – musical double bar note

A big double music note! Put it in your WLM status today!

♭ – flat note

If you ever need to make a flat note icon, then this one can be copied and pasted. It looks a bit like the letter ‘b’, but it’s actually a different character altogether.

♮ – natural note

This is the natural note character.

♯ – sharp note

Finally, the music symbol for ‘sharp’ (it could be b sharp, a sharp etc). Very cool!
